Some Americans have been known to wish they lived elsewhere in the world, owing to certain things appearing to be much better handled elsewhere.

Up to and including healthcare, free education, cost of living, or simply the way they make pizza or coffee.

However, sometimes we must stop and remind ourselves that the grass is always greener in someone else's yard.

As there are plenty of people all over the world who wish they were living in the USA, believing that some things are simply done better in America.

Redditor KyleB2131 was curious to hear what people thought America does better than anywhere else, leading them to ask:
"What does America do better than most other countries?"

America is what it is today all owing to the fact that people came here for a better life.

No question, America has its issues, hence why no one mentioned our political system or our electoral process.

But it's the things that are uniquely and unequivocally American which makes people feeling lucky to be living here.

Love it or hate it, it's hard to avoid eating at McDonald's or other fast food chains every now and then.

Those who tend to avoid it also tend to simply not have a taste for the greasy, deep-fried, not particularly healthy items on the menu.

Some even wonder if the greasy, high-calorie food is even less healthy than people think, wondering what exactly goes in the burger patties and the chicken nuggets.

A viral photo of a deep-fried rat from a New York City Popeye's only exacerbated those ever-growing conspiracy theories.

With this in mind, it would be helpful to have some first-hand knowledge from those in the kitchen at McDonald's, Burger King, and the like, to know what is and isn't safe to grab and go.

Who hasn't faked an illness at least once in their life, to get out of going to a work, school or a party or gathering you just really didn't want to go to?

In such cases, a simple call or message saying you're sick will often suffice.

Other times, a doctor's note might be necessary to prove that you are in fact sick.

While needing medical proof of illness is enough for some people to wave the white flag, others are a bit more determined, and will give the performance of their lives to try to convince a doctor they are ailing.

Unfortunately for them, most doctors can detect a fraudulent invalid before even inserting a thermometer.

This past June, America's eyes widened in disbelief when the Supreme Court overturned Roe V. Wade, the landmark decision which gave women the legal right to an abortion.

Members of all political parties were astonished that the Court put mandates on women and their bodies, while certain states swiftly implemented abortion bans.

A definite low point for the United States and the U.S. government.

But was it the lowest point?

Hard as it may be to imagine, the overturning of Roe V. Wade was only one in a long list of shocking mandates and cover-ups and actions the US government was responsible for.

Some have been long forgotten, others which certain elected officials and civil servants are hoping people will forget.

Parents Explain How They Really Decide Whether They Like Their Kid's Significant Other Or Not
Photo by Toa Heftiba on Unsplash

There is little more nerve wracking than the first time someone introduces their partner to their parents.

For everyone involved.

Both halves of the couple worry that the parents will judge their every move, disapprove of the partner's choice of profession, or decide that they aren't good enough for their son or daughter.

Making both the child and significant other wish more than anything that they knew what was going through the heads of the parents.
