The final frontier isn't just a place for grown ups. In January 2019, children's publisher Little Golden Books will be releasing a series of picture books based on Star Trek: The Original Series!


The series will begin with two introductory books titled "I Am Mr. Spock" and "I Am Captain Kirk." Though they won't be officially released until January 8, you can head to Amazon and pre-order the books right now.

The synopsis for "I Am Captain Kirk" reads:

"Whether making strange new discoveries at the farthest reaches of the galaxy or facing off against Klingons and other alien races, find out what makes Captain James T. Kirk the most famous starship captain ever. Having to work for a living is hard work.

Some jobs come with difficulty and two extra sides of stress.

Short of having a shopping addiction, no one actually likes spending money on stuff.

Why would you ever willingly give it away? It's your money!
