People turn shameless when they're on vacation.

Hotel guests can be careless about their personal possessions and strange behaviors. Besides, they may figure that they'll never run into any of the other guests or hotel staff, and so the impressions they make don't really matter. But the impressions some guests make are, frankly, unforgettable. When gross belongings and strange habits are discovered by hotel workers, best believe that the story will be shared forever.

Redditor u/LucasSkudy asked hotel workers, "What was the strangest thing you've found in someone's room?" And it proved that hotel staff remember everything.

10. This trashy rearrangement

"Well its not exactly something that was there but more like something missing. I had to call some guests to see why they havent checked out with the front desk but I didnt get a response. I went to the room (the room being a 2 bedroom suite and they actually had 2 suites booked) and when I entered there was no one there. The room was trashed with garbage everywhere and literally a pizza slice stuck to the ceiling (which I'm assuming was made purposefully as a joke?) but one thing stuck out. The fridge was missing. I looked around but couldnt find it. 'Did they steal it?'. The moment I entered the other bedroom suite, which was as well trashed but not as bad as the previous one, and went in one of the bedrooms I finally saw it. The fridge was there. They moved the fridge from one suite to the other and put it next to the bed."

9. Dirty things under the bed

"Sex toys, a lot of them, all under the bed in the metal box frame. Like I mean enough to start your own sex store... Also about used 50 syringes, burnt spoon and other drug paraphernalia.

Oh the stories I can tell from working in hotels for so many years."

6. This contaminated kitchen

"Frequent traveler here. I was staying at a full suite hotel and had a kitchenette. In the back of the utensil drawer there was a butt plug mixed in with the small items like the wine opener, measuring spoons, and such. I stopped cooking at that point and just went with carry out food."

5. How'd they get this past the lobby?

"I worked overnight at a best Western. Checked a guy and girl in. Got a noise complaint about 3AM. They somehow managed to get his motorcycle in the room (this still confused me as i really believe i would've noticed) and were revving the engine and heavily intoxicated. Wtf are some people thinking man?!?"

4. The butter game

"I worked in a hotel/casino as overnight MOD. I had to issue a noise complaint one night and after about 5 minutes of standing outside the room knocking and the guest not coming to the door myself and security let ourselves in. This dude had like 6 girls in the room with him and the bed was covered in visqueen and the visqueen was covered in butter and on top of the butter was thousands and thousands of dollars. Dude was having these women cover each other in butter and then roll around in the money. Whatever attached to them they kept."

3. This comfy doll

"Doesn't quite fit in here but room service once tucked in my stuffed animal when I wasn't there. Just thought that was super cute."

2. A muffin stuntman

"Was a part-time housecleaning service in a hotel, this is a bit weird, but not gross, some guy standing in swim trunks on the bed, with 5 fricking muffins balanced on his head, I just left and did it the cleaning an hour later, and the guy looked a bit embarrassed outside of the door."

1. This illegal operation

Giphy

"Knocked, no answer, walked in to see 2 sweaty men with guns around them. In the middle the ironing board open with different trays of green dye, paper everywhere, and a photo copier. They were attempting to make counterfeit money. I slowly shut the door and went about my business. I got a good tip when they left, and yes it was real money."

People Break Down The Circumstances Where They'd Stay In A Sexless Relationship
Photo by Kelly Sikkema on Unsplash

Sex is an important part of life.

That is just a fact.

But sex is also about connection and intimacy.

So it's not a surprise when many relationships take a hit after the sex dries up.

It's not something to ignore.

It's the biggest problem in the world, but partners should discuss it.

RedditorItsyBitsyJoxywanted to hear about reasons to stick around with a partner when there is no sexy time. They asked:

"Would you be in a sexless relationship? What circumstance would you find acceptable for this?"

We all have things which get on our nerves.

Some people have a fairly high tolerance level, and are only truly perturbed by things which are beyond the bounds of common decency, or which are universally accepted as annoying or inconvenient.

Others are not so lucky, and tend to be set off by things which might go completely unnoticed by everyone else.

Redditor Onatic420 was curious to learn the things which instantly make others want to pull their hair out and scream, leading them to ask:

"What do you find annoying as f*ck?"

People Divulge The Biggest Lies Society Still Believes
Photo by Brett Jordan on Unsplash

How many of us heard the old saying "an apple a day keeps the doctor away" as a child?

Or were told by their parents that watching too much television would make your eyes fall out?

Needless to say, these, as well as other sayings and superstitions, were not 100% accurate, possibly even having no truth to them whatsoever

Rather, these were merely a way to encourage, or scare, children into better eating habits, or getting away from the TV once and a while.

Some however, have, took these and other unsubstantiated pieces of information literally, and continue to believe them to be true.

Redditor wste96 was curious to believe what other falsehoods people continue to believe, in spite of proof to the contrary, leading them to ask:

"What's the biggest lie ever told that we, as a society, still believe in?"
