Amy Schumer Just Clapped Back At The Trolls Who Shamed Her For Going Back To Work In The Most Iconic Way
Amy Schumer can't ever catch a break from her numerous haters, but fortunately the raunchy comedian can always give as good as she gets.
Over the last nine month,s Amy Schumer has been giving followers a candid inside look at the heartwarming and often hilarious joys and discomforts of pregnancy.
From her one of a kind maternity photos to some truly worrying health scares, the brutally honest comedian held nothing back.
And finally, just two weeks ago, Schumer and husband Chris Fischer finally welcomed their beautiful baby boy Gene into the world.
The journey to motherhood had been pretty tough for Schumer who suffered from a condition known as hyperemesis which made her violently nauseous throughout her entire pregnancy.
At the end of it all though, Schumer shared an inspiring post saying it had all been worth it.
After such a challenging pregnancy, one might assume Schumer would take some much deserved time to recuperate.
But just two weeks later, the warrior mom was back out doing what she does best: making us all laugh.
This week Schumer shared an image of her first night back on stage post-baby with her followers on Instagram, announcing in the caption, "I'm back!"
Supportive fans were astonished with how quickly Schumer made it back on stage.
But of course haters were also there to mom-shame and call Schumer out for everything from her privilege to leaving her new baby too soon.
In true Schumer fashion though Amy had a shout-out to all her haters up on Instagram the next day.
The candid post featured Schumer using her breast pump with a special message for all her mom-shaming critics out there.
It was pure classic Schumer, and fans were of course there to cheer on the unstoppable new mom.
It seems like nothing can stop Amy Schumer which is probably why we love her.
Now we're just dying to hear Schumer's hilarious take on parenthood in a few months.
The Poster For Amy Schumer's Upcoming Netflix Special Features A Badass Drawing Of Her Baby Bump
Actress and stand-up comedian Amy Schumer has a new special coming to Netflix this month called Growing.
Netflix describes the upcoming special on its show page:
"Amy Schumer spills on her new marriage, personal growth, making a baby and her mom's misguided advice in a special that's both raunchy and sincere."
Given the subject of the special, Schumer decided to share a promo poster to Instagram and Twitter on International Women's Day.
The poster draws definite inspiration from the "We Can Do It" World War II poster of Rosie the Riveter by J Howard Miller, and portrays pregnancy as empowering.
Schumer has been quite open about her pregnancy, and her exposed baby bump in the promo reinforces this idea that pregnancy isn't something shameful that needs to be hidden.
Quite a few people loved the poster, and the encouraging message that all bodies are beautiful.

Schumer's special will be available to watch on Netflix starting March 19th.
Amy Schumer is at it again. The comedian was caught crashing another couple's engagement photos.
James Matthews and Katherine Salisbury were in the middle of a photoshoot, posing for their engagement photos in New Orleans, when Schumer walked past.
The photographer, Jen Menard, said:
"I honestly didn't notice. Then she ran back over and said, 'Hey! Is this an engagement session?' And we told her yeah, then she said, 'Can I photobomb?!'"
Who could say no to that?
I spoke to the bride-to-be, Katherine Salisbury, who had her engagement photoshoot crashed by @amyschumer and asked… https://t.co/ifpq6syBVv— Jenna Amatulli (@Jenna Amatulli) 1549389549.0

Menard had already been shooting for about 20 minutes and the bride was delighted to have Schumer to join in the fun.
Salisbury told the Huffington Post she was thinking
"HOLY SHIT! That is Amy Schumer! But I didn't want to say that out loud because I figured she would just want to go on her way after she photobombed us as opposed to staying to chat."
The photo was posted to Menard's Instagram where it proved very popular.
From there, Schumer took a screenshot and shared it to her Instagram.

Salisbury said:
"Kind of kicking myself that we only have the one picture (although it is an amazing one),"
"She did ask if she could photobomb us and I was like 'HELL YES get in here!'"
Salisbury has extended an invitation to the comedian to be at her wedding:
"Of course! Who WOULDN'T want her there?! …We'll give her +3 guests. Husband, baby and of course Tati."
This isn't the first time Schumer has photobombed a couple getting engaged. It's become almost a recurring habit for the comedian.
Last October, Schumer and her husband, Chris Fischer, photobombed a couple's engagement photo in New York's Central Park.
Central Park seems like a more likely place to encounter Schumer, as opposed to New Orleans. In June 2015, she crashed another couple's engagement photos.
Music festivals are nothing new. They've been a staple of the rock n' roll experience for generations. We like to think of our parents and grandparents as being more mature and responsible than we were, but remember - nothing is new, children.
We promise, getting crazy at music festivals is something our forefathers knew well - which means needing medical services because you got too crazy at a music festival is a time honored tradition, folks!
One reddit user asked:
EMS/Medical people at Music Festivals, what are your most crazy stories?
We're not sure how half of these people are still alive, but they now have legendary tales to tell. Here are some of our favorites, some may be edited for clarity.
