The old saying goes, "Quality over quantity." Instead of having a lot of something that's only just okay, it's better to have one thing of that's been made really well. Sure, having one hand-crafted table might be better than having twenty IKEA tables, but sometimes it's not always about the quality. Occasionally it does help to have more of one thing than simply one really nice thing.

Reddit user, u/powerspyin1, wanted to know when more actually is better when they asked:

When is Quantity more important than Quality?

Make It Mountain Sized

Fried rice from that cheap chinese place down the road.

Kind Of Obvious, But Worth Saying

Air.

Trapped under water I'd rather have an unlimited supply of the worst China class smog than 15 minutes of Fiji Air.

Money Is The True King

Well I'll take a box of old dirty quarters over a handful of shiny ones.

As Long As It Fills You

When you're poor, food.

I'd rather have a kitchen full of semi healthy stuff that will last than a few healthy items

So Long As They Both Do The Same Job

I'd say when quality becomes superfluous.

If you were building a house, you could spend tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars on custom tooled boron carbide meme nails, that will literally shred steel before they so much as scratch. Or you could spend only a few hundred (at the most) on regular carpenters nails. They will both do the same job, to the level of expectations that you would require, but one choice would be significantly cheaper, in a way quantity can be it's own quality.

The Quality Of Water Doesn't Matter So Much When You're Burning Down

When you need water to put out a fire.

A Little Better Every Day

In practice. For example: spending 100 days doing bad drawings will teach you more about drawing than 100 days trying to perfect one piece.

Pens.

No matter the quality, you will always lose them.

Yep. I'm writing this into my will. Thank you. Some day my family will laugh at my funeral and it will be my last goofy thing.

Voters

Edit: all you bloody americans stop trying to work my single word response to a question into your corrupt and frankly proposterous election system or whatever the hell you guys have over there. No country has quality voters as a majority and you need to majority to win elections. MAJORITY OF THE VOTES ARE IMPORTANT AS THE QUESTION ASKED ABOUT A SCENARIO WHERE QUANTITY WAS IMPORTANT. sheesh you guys and your electoral whatnots i do not give a single bold headed f-ck.

Siblings can be problematic to say the least. And as much as we love our family, they can be the most aggravating people any of us know.

The history of the bond and twisted relationships between sibs is long, complicated and chuck full of family fun.

I know by brother and I alone could fill an anthology. Imagine if we all put our stories together?

That's all anybody would talk about.

Redditor u/lew939 wanted all the siblings out there to share a tale or two by asking:

Siblings of Reddit, What does your sibling do that irritates you the most?

What is in the water in the United States that compels people to walk around in their homes with their shoes on? Try doing that in South Korea––people would be so mortified. I have a sibling whose apartment is carpeted from wall to wall and who walks around inside with his shoes on all the time, tracking in any manner of dirt and dust from outside. Egad! I get chills just thinking about it. And as an American, it's something I've noticed people from other countries love to comment on.

We learned a lot more about things that are considered normal in other countries after Redditor monitonik asked the online community,

"What's normal in your country that's considered weird in others?"

The brain a fascinating part of the body. No, its the most fascinating.

Scientists have said for years that we'll never know all about the brain and its functions.

So if it is so fascinating and so capable and awesome... why does it stall? Why does it overload?

Why aren't we all gifted with photographic memory? The brain definitely has a full storage issue. And we all suffer.

Redditor u/MABAMA45 wanted everyone to fess up to and just embrace all the things the brain can't handle by asking:

What can your brain just not comprehend?
