People Share What Screams, 'I Have A Crush On You'

I'm sorta into you.

Oh love is a beautiful, tricky, often shady mistress. Love is brutally imperfect and can often be unable to contain. We all have those people we love and lust for but can't tell them, or we believe we can't tell them for whatever reasons. So we tend to obsess over them from afar, yet often right under their noses. We think we're being cool and that they have no idea that we would slay dragons for them but those feelings, that crush is beyond obvious.

Redditor u/positivemale wanted to discuss the red flags of falling in love by asking... What screams "I have a crush on you"?

Sleep Deprivation...

You stay up talking to them multiple nights in a row and screw up your entire sleep schedule

Source: I am going thru it now.

The girl I like used to have a little thing for my best friend for like 2 days but he's basically in love with his soon-to-be girl who's also one of my best friends. Its hella complicated man. Superweeniehutjrboi

Laugh Your head Off!

If they laugh at everything you say, there's a good chance they're crushing on you. mourningdoo

I have a girl who literally do this when I first met her in my Uni. She would make me ask things about her, being talkative with me, and seems comfortable sharing the same table with only the two of us. Pretty much ticks all the characteristics of a crush. And then she tells me how she met her boyfriend (which is on facebook). I guessed she's laughing simply cos I was funny, not of anything else. Sinaran_Sundang

Rise but no Shine!

Being in college and getting up at 7am to have breakfast with her when you have no classes at all that day.

People are Watching...

Typically only others can see it, but when they look at you every chance they get when you aren't looking lol. DarthRevan17

Yup!

Freshman year of high school I had a huge crush on this blond kid. At lunch one day, I saw him talking to a mutual guy friend. I could not stop looking over at him, because duh, I liked him.

I had been with my friends talking about random things when my friend pointed out that I kept looking at him, but that he kept looking at me too, whenever I wasn't looking.

7 years later, we are married and have babies :) RIPChairModel

She Loves Me!

I knew a former co-worker was into me because of how much extra attention i got from her. everyone in general was nice, but she was extra nice. she'd bring me snacks, eventually started giving me small presents, would tell me to go on my break even if i already knew it was time.

i knew she trusted me when she gave me her laptop to take home for a few days so i could learn to use it and then teach her.

Besides that, her actually asking me and being curious about what i'd really like for christmas also helped in letting me know she cared. i did a lot of things that should've let her know i cared/liked her, but i guess i should've done more. Alejandro4891

Hands Off!

Touching. If they are touching you more than the average person touches you, and/or more than they are touching everybody else. gimme_the_light

That's tricky because even when I've had a crush on someone, I don't feel like I'm allowed to breach that level of... uh, "intimacy" I guess. If touching is kinda "special" to you in some way then no, you don't touch them unless you know it goes both ways. Zhuinden

Drink Up!

Drunk calling/texting, next day call/text to apologize for the night before because they were drunk. CDD1977red

Whoops....

Accidentally tweeting your crush's name at 2:00 am. I mean, you meant to search it, but it's late at night, dammit, and you want to make sure they don't have a boyfriend (even though you're too chicken to ask them out). polakpunk00

People are required to have a license to drive, fish, and have certain jobs.

So it boggles my mind that people aren't required to have a license to have kids.

Some of the cruelest and most vicious things I've ever heard were words uttered by a parent to a child.

As an adult, I was haunted by a few thigs.

I can't imagine the scaring of an adolescent.

A tough realization that most of us have to process and accept at some point is the fact that our parents lied to us when we were kids.

But the tougher fact to process may not be the lying itself, but some of the lies that were told along the way.

With theaters finally open to those wanting the ultimate entertainment experience that streaming movies at home can't provide, the pandemic that kept many venues closed now feels like a distant memory.

There's nothing like seeing a film up on the big screen the way Hollywood studios intended, and many would argue that experience is worth shelling out the cash for.

That being said, there is no assurance audiences will remain in their seats until the credits roll at the end.

Because not all movies are created equal. Some are just embarrassingly bad and not worth sticking around for.

If there was one good thing to come out of the pandemic, it was that it made us all the more appreciative of all that is good in our lives.

No one ever appreciated the importance of friends or family more, having to be kept apart from each other for months, or the little things which bring us joy, which we made sure to keep doing even as pandemic restrictions were lifted.

Of course, being alone with our thoughts for such a long time also resulted in our reflecting on things in our lives, or in the world in general, which we were less than happy about.

Not to mention the all-important realization that life is short and precious, and we don't have time to waste our thoughts on some things.
