A doggy day care in Nebraska just received their liquor license and dog owners everywhere are celebrating.

The approval for Barks n Brews was awarded at Omaha's Tuesday night city council meeting.

Owner Danielle Hargens, when asked why she wanted a liquor license, had this to say:

"So you can get a drink and then play with your dog. So you and your dog can socialize. A lot of people feel bad for going out if they've been away from their dog, so here you can bring you dog and have a drink as well."

Of course, the alcohol is only for the humans. Dogs will not be served.

People reacted with a variety of perspectives.
