People Recall The Weirdest Dream They've Ever Had

When we go to sleep, our imaginations get the chance to run wild in the form of our dreams. Some imaginations are more creative than others...

Lately, I've been having a recurring dream about owning dozens of ferrets, guinea pigs, mice, and other small furry critters. They all live in tanks and cages stacked on top of each other. I start panicking when I realize that it's been a long time since I last fed some of them, and I frantically check if they're still alive. Then I notice that all of the ferrets have escaped their cage and I start looking around my house for them...

I always wake up from this dream feeling alarmed.

Some dreams are so emotionally impactful or vivid that they stay with the dreamer long after they've woken up. Redditor u/Dublessman got to hear about people's most interesting dreams when they asked, "What's the weirdest dream you've ever had?"

10. That's a new kind of lead poisoning

"In gym class we were invading a Russian military base. I shot a lock with a gun, and then the bullet turned into liquid and landed in my mouth. I got led poisoning and my gym teacher gave me a gummy vitamin to treat it."

9. My throat feels funny...

"Last night I dreamt there was a little flappy bit of skin in my mouth, so I started to pull it to get rid of it. Turns out it was connected to my whole esophagus, and I ripped out like three feet of it and my throat started filling with blood."

8. I can't tell if they loved or hated that teacher

"Just a couple nights ago I had a dream my English teacher broke into my house, stole a little desk fan from my room, yelled at my family, and ate food from our pantry"

"I had a reoccurring dream as a child when I slept in a bunkbed with my sister where the room would flood and an alligator would come into our room and eat my sister on the top bunk. I'm still traumatized."

2. I'm guessing this manager wasn't the best to work with

"I had a dream about my manager from my old job flying around the grocery store with demon wings that moved around in circles instead of flapping, while also carrying a large flaming sword. He would fly around and cleave people's heads off while shouting 'Sucks to be you!!'"

All of us have fears which some might call irrational.

Up to and including ghosts, witches, monsters.

But more often than not, reality can be far scarier than the supernatural.

And there are very few people indeed who don't have a memory of a moment when they were truly and genuinely scared.

And not by an otherworldly encounter, but by things that could quite literally happen to anyone.

Redditor GodhimselfUwU was curious to hear the scariest experiences people have lived through, leading them to ask:

"What’s the scariest non-supernatural thing that ever happened to you?"

Having to work for a living is hard work.

Some jobs come with difficulty and two extra sides of stress.

So the last thing people need is unwarranted hate.

I'm so glad I work from home. Writing alone.

I have issues with me, but that I can deal with.

I do hate internet issues.

But that is warranted.

Redditor PM_ME_URFOOD wanted to talk about the jobs where a ridiculous amount of vitriol is all part of a days work. They asked:

"What profession gets an unjustified amount of hate?"

People Explain Which Items In Life Should Always Be Free

Short of having a shopping addiction, no one actually likes spending money on stuff.

Why would you ever willingly give it away? It's your money!

Which might be why it feels so bad when you have to spend money of something that should be free from the beginning. People/ corporations are going to chase that cheddar, though, so there's little you can do besides complain, which frankly might be the best thing the internet is for.
