"What is lame when you're young, but cool when you're older?" –– Plenty, believe it or not. This was today's burning question fired off by Redditor FiredUpRedHeadRock, who reminded us that there's no shame in growing up. Life is bound to get a bit easier when you're feeling more self assured!
To those of you concerned about being "lame" now: There's hope.
"Sitting around the table..."
Sitting around the table talking with friends. As a kid I never understood how my parents and their friends could just drink coffee and talk. Now, I get it.
"Man, now that I'm an adult..."Giphy
Home Depot. Man, now that I'm an adult, every time I go in I see stuff I want to buy. It's like grown up version of Toys R Us.
Museums. I used to hate being forced to go to museums. Now whenever I visit a new place the first thing I look for are art and history museums.
Staying in on a weekend night. Relaxing at home and watching a movie is now my perfect Friday night.
"Going for walks..."
Going for walks in nature. I love being among trees. As a kid I just wanted to play Kirby Superstar.
Having dinner and hanging with your parents. I'd give my right arm to have, not only a home cooked meal, but to just hang with my parents.
Boring summer days when your parents were at work and you had nothing to do. I used to feel all bummed out on those days.
Now, I live for the days where the house is clean, errands are done, and no one wants to hang out.
Having fun, even embarrassing yourself to do so, in public. I remember being really young, like 11, and refusing to have normal kid fun because I thought it would look silly. Which looks the exact opposite. Who cares what you look like.. have some fun before you die.
"I'll even take..."
Slippers. Love kicking off my shoes and putting those soft squishy things on my feet when I get home. I'll even take the trash out in 'em, I don't care.
Hanging with parents. Used to hate it as a kid but when i got older I realized there's limited time for it and you'll definitely regret the moments you didn't take when they're gone.
Hold on tight when you find a brand deserving of your loyalty!
People shared their thoughts with us after Redditor spwf asked the online community,

"Lodge. Their cast iron pans are super durable and can last a lifetime."
Glad to hear you've found some much-needed relief!
"Warranty and service..."
"This one brand..."
Yes, these are so good! An excellent choice.
"High quality" is right. Those pants last forever.
"It helps clean..."
Fantastic – it sounds like you should be their salesperson.
"They don't use..."
"New Balance. They don't use slave labor to make shoes."
They are comfortable and fit well.
"They are a retailer..."
Many people use them for shoes, for camping gear... all kinds of stuff. They're very reliable.
"I wear my Timberland boots..."
These shoes tend to last forever. "Durable" is the perfect word.
"One large bottle..."

You know what would be great?
Let's just toss them out, shall we?
People shared their thoughts with us after Redditor Levels2ThisBrush asked the online community,
"What should be socially acceptable but isn't?"
"Leaving the office..."
"Leaving the office whenever you've finished your tasks for the day."
This is why I'm so glad remote work is the new office.
"And yet, I get it!"
I do not miss my retail days where I had to organise someone to cover me and beg on bended knee.
"Cashiers or workers who don’t need to be standing all day not having a stool or chair."
"Prices on apartments..."
I always assume if I have to ask the price I probably can’t afford it.
"Being quiet/not wanting to engage in conversation all the time."
In Finland, if somebody tries to talk to you, they are probably a tourist.
"Choosing not to..."
"Choosing not to have toxic family members in your life."
It feels very liberating once you accept that you don't have to put up with it.
"Employees calling customers out in public for being a**holes."
"The fact that I sometimes..."
You’re getting that sweet sweet insulin high… the high of being not-dead.
The "for some reason" you're referring to is simply propaganda on behalf of corporations.

Lucky for them, it's delicious either way.
And this can include foods which are not customarily sold both hot and cold (cold pizza anyone?).
