This Viral Video Of A Dog Crying While Watching Mufasa Die In 'The Lion King' Is Just Too Pure
The Lion King is a pretty emotional movie, especially for those young'uns. The same seemed to hold true for a pit bull pup named Luna, who was born only 4 months ago.
Josh Myers recently posted a video to Facebook of his dog Luna watching The Lion King. She stopped playing and stared at the TV to watch the scene where Mufasa dies.
During the scene, Luna begins whining and crying while Simba attempts to wake his father. She eventually settles down and can be seen watching the movie without further comment.
Myers captioned the video:
"'Anything you feel, I can feel too.' 🐾
"So Hannah and I were watching the Lion King while Luna played wildly with her toys. But right as Mufasa falls to his death, she stops and turns to the TV to watch. To see her crying at the TV was the sweetest thing I think I've ever seen."
"She even lays down right after Simba lays with his dad....We don't deserve dogs. 💚 4 months old and she's already showing empathy."
Facebook users couldn't get enough of Luna.

Apparently, someone insisted that there must have been a human coaching Luna, so Josh posted another video from a different angle.

Luna was tired out by the whole experience.

Dogs have a surprising capacity for empathy, as anyone who has been ill or upset and had their dog comfort them will attest. We hope Luna got lots of treats and extra attention for being so adorable!
Fans Know Just Who Should Play The 2020 Super Bowl Halftime Show In Miami—And They've Started A Petition
Fans want to have a little more say in the 2020 Super Bowl halftime show.
Following Maroon 5's performance at the 2019 game, which has been panned nationwide by fans and critics alike, fans are unwilling to sit back and watch the NFL run themselves into the ground.
The Super Bowl suffered a lot of hiccups in finding its halftime show acts.
After the NFL's handling of Colin Kaepernick's protest during the National Anthem, more than five artists reportedly turned down the gig, including Rihanna, Cardi B and P!nk.
And Maroon 5's performance was...well, there's no other description for it:
a yikes festival.

So fans want to take control of the next halftime show to make sure we never go so wrong again.
The Super Bowl in 2020, which will be held in Miami, is already getting fans hyped up.
In fact, the Miami Super Bowl committee released a video for that very purpose.

And the main voice of the video is exactly who fans want at next year's halftime show.
A fan began a petition on Change.org to get Armando Christian Pérez, aka "Pitbull",
to perform next year.
"Our city is a melting pot of all different cultures, and Pitbull is the voice for that," said JP Gutierrez, who started the petition.
"I just think we deserve that."

@wsvn It should be a @pitbull concert that takes a 4 hour break to play the football game. #miami #dale— Moe Chedda (@Moe Chedda) 1549486508.0
@wsvn HECK YES!!!! Invite Gloria Estefan and Enrique Iglesias. Let’s make it an ALL LATIN ARTIST show♥️— claudia f (@claudia f) 1549506105.0
@wsvn Yess also Daddy Yankee our miami Dade pride— Gaby (@Gaby) 1549499326.0
Pitbull was born in Miami on Janury 15, 1981, to Cuban emigrant parents. He underwent a rather rough upbringing but now represents all of the art and culture of Miami proudly.
"I texted it to my group chat like, 'Hey, what if this happened?'" Gutierrez said, about creating the petition.
"I thought someone's probably going to have the idea to do this, so let me be the one to have the initiative to do it."
And his idea is definitely catching fire.

@LeJuan__James @NFL It’ll be Pitbull.— Krista M. Torralva (@Krista M. Torralva) 1549245316.0
Pitbull himself has not commented on the choice yet, but if fans want him this much, it leaves the door open.
The show can only get better after this year's, after all.
