There are so many layers to crime, so many levels.

Are there crimes that aren't really crimes?

We're not talking about murder here, but what about jaywalking?

If there is no victim, does it count?

There are also quite a few local laws that don't quite make sense.

Should those count as a true crime especially if they get repealed when people find out about them?

People Who Work With Dead Bodies Share Their Best Ghost Stories
Photo by Sacre Bleu on Unsplash

Working around or alongside dead bodies is not a job everyone can handle.

Indeed, it takes a strong stomach, massive discipline, not to mention bravery.

Of course, most people who are brave enough to work as a doctor, nurse, coroner, or a mortician usually also have a high level of compassion as well, honoring the life of the person they are working for.

Particularly if they are superstitious, and wonder if that very person might still be in the same room with them, just out of their bodies.

An idea easy enough to laugh off, but indeed, many of these people have first hand experiences of haunting, sometimes scary encounters of finding themselves in the presence of spirits.

I have a paralyzing fear of death. If I could I would live forever. Have you ever seen the movie "Death Becomes Her?" I would give every penny for that potion. And I wouldn't be all crazy like them.

Live well forever and be happy? It's possible. Even though life is nuts and scary, you're still here. What if there is nothing after the final breath? I don't want to just not exist, while everybody else just gets to keep on dancing.

I've often thought that I may one day fake my death, just to see who would show up at my funeral, and just to see what they would say.

We all know that the true tea is spilled after one has stopped breathing. So many of us play a good game of nice when we're all in corporeal form, but once that heart ceases to beat, honey those knives are coming out.

I have been to funerals that could rival episodes of 'Dynasty.' The things we say at a funeral can only possibly be topped by truths we tell at a wedding. And it's all a mess.

Redditoru/harumin24wanted to hear about the tea that is spilled when saying farewell to the dead by asking:

What's the worst thing you've heard someone say about the deceased at their funeral?

People Break Down Their Craziest Experiences With The Paranormal

Boo! Are you scared yet?! You should be, the spirits and their ilk are listening.

The paranormal is a thing. Yes, sometimes our minds do play a trick or two on us, but you cannot discount the ghosts and the unrested dead.

Death does probably get a little boring, so you gotta keep it lively and haunt a few of the living.

That was the point of Beetlejuice. Wasn't it?

What is the craziest paranormal experience you've had?
