Lines Will Be So Long At A Disney's Star Wars Ride, They're Giving Out Bathroom Passes
If you thought New Year's in Times Square was rough, Disneyland is about to get a taste of what it would be like to ring in the new year every day.
Much hype has been built around the most anticipated expansion to two Disney parks announced by Disney CEO Bob Iger back in 2015 at the D23 Expo, a convention for the ultimate Disney fan. That hype is going to lead to long lines for one of the new rides.
Could your weak bladder handle it?
Disney is making sure there are no leaky trousers by issuing a convenient service. The park will issue passes so guests who need to make a run for it could easily have their place held in line.
Disney officials told PEOPLE this is not a new initiative and said the parks work to accommodate guests who need to get out of line for any reason.

Lines could take hours, especially for a new ride like Millennium Falcon: Smuggerl's Run – the next generation of simulator rides that will allow guests to pilot Han Solo's iconic Corellian light freighter.
The story of how the craft became the property of Han Solo was told in the film Solo: A Star Wars Story, available here.
In an effort to make waiting in line more pleasant, Disney devised distractions like mobile app interactions, games conducted by cast members, and character performances.
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is the name of the expansion simultaneously finishing up with construction inside Disneyland park in Anaheim and in Disney's Hollywood Studios park in Florida. The latter park's expansion is scheduled to open in August.
Once Galaxy's Edge opens in Anaheim on May 31, hordes of guests will descend upon the Black Spire Outpost – the village on the planet Batuu located on the edge of the Outer Rim territories where the new land takes place.
Apparently Batuu has outhouses instead of indoor plumbing. Is this canon? https://t.co/Ak7gJlUidh— Len Testa (@Len Testa) 1554301042.0
However, make sure you have reservations.
Details are forthcoming but all guests are required to have reservations before setting foot in Galaxy's Edge prior to their arrival in Disneyland.
Galaxy's Edge will open in two phases, with the second phase featuring one of the most ambitious attractions Disney Imagineers have ever come up with.
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance will put guests right in the middle of a battle between the First Order and the Resistance. But you'll have to wait. Disney is delaying the opening of that experience for later in the fall.
That means Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run will be the only operating attraction on opening day.
Good decision. https://t.co/3ylZhskQ32— Joel Austin (@Joel Austin) 1554431101.0
While most fans can't wait to visit Galaxy's Edge, the patient guests are willing to delay their trips.

There is always room for more improvement.
When Pandora opened in Disney's Animal Kingdom, guests waiting hours in line for the Avatar-based Flight of Passage attraction experienced some leakage.

As you can imagine, the line for Smuggler's Run will be as epic as the Star Wars saga, and Disneyland is prepared to handle the crowds.
Using the force to hold your pee could only get you so far, so take advantage of this convenient system.
