New Footage Of Whitney Houston's Hologram That Will Tour The World Is Giving Everyone The Major Creeps
Our greatest love of all, Whitney Houston, is being resurrected in the form of a hologram and people are getting goosebumps.
The music industry was devasted when fans learned that the legendary singer died on February 11, 2012 after paramedics found her unconscious in a hotel bathtub from an accidental drowning.
She was 48.
No other singer has come close to matching her soul-stirring vocals since her death.
But last year, Houston's estate had some exciting news for fans. At least they thought they did.
Eight years later, the singer will be making a comeback in a way fans never expected.
It appears the deceased R&B diva is going to "run to you" and perform in arenas around the world.
Video footage from a preview of An Evening With Whitney: The Whitney Houston Hologram Tour made the rounds on the internet ahead of its Sheffield, England premiere on February 25.

The posthumous concert tour is a partnership with Whitney Houston's estate and BASE Hologram and will feature Houston as a three-dimensional image accompanied by a live band and backup dancers choreographed by Fatima Robinson.
Last year, Houston's former manager and sister-in-law Pat Houston said she was excited to reunite audiences with the iconic singer.
"(Whitney) adored her audiences and that's why we know she would have loved this holographic theatrical concept."
"An event at this level is something special. . . . This upcoming tour will allow audiences to experience Whitney's amazing voice and passion for music for a long time to come and help them share that magic with future generations."
However, ghost Whitney is already creeping people out.

"Whitney is not with us, but her music will live with us forever. We know we made the right decision partnering with BASE because they understand how important it is to produce a phenomenal hologram."
"They also know that engaging her fans with an authentic Whitney experience would resonate worldwide because of the iconic status that she created over three decades. Her fans deserve nothing less because she gave nothing less than her best."
Some fans think "it's not right," but is it okay?

REM Frontman Michael Stipe Once Told Trump To 'Shut Up' At A Patti Smith Concert, And His Reaction Was Classic Trump
Years before Donald Trump became President, he was already being rude to people all over New York.
This comes as no news to New Yorkers.
But even Atlanta native Michael Stipe—frontman for the band R.E.M.—has a story.
He told the story of having to tell Donald Trump to shut up at a Patti Smith concert. He told his tale while being interviewed on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
You can watch the interview here.
According to Stipe, he was attending a Patti Smith charity concert at Joe's Pub in Manhattan in the late 1990s when a large, rude man came in with his date and began talking loudly during the music.
After the man wouldn't stop talking, Smith told him:
"Excuse me, that's my friend. And you have to stop talking. ... Stop! ... What are you doing? Shut up."
Of course, we now know that man was none other than future President Donald Trump.
@Newsweek Now you'll get arrested and thrown into solitary confinement.— John Reay (@John Reay) 1580489703.0
Without yet calling out Trump by name, Stipe described what the man did in response to being chastised.
"The guy got up and left. He walked out. He took his date, who he was obviously trying to pick up, and left the club."
@Newsweek I wish we could all do that and have the same effect.— Jeff Yorkes (@Jeff Yorkes) 1580489641.0
Colbert and Stipe also discussed R.E.M.'s continued battle to stop Trump from playing their music at his rallies.
Stipe disappointedly explained:
"It's a licensing problem and there's nothing we can do except respectfully request that he not."
Twitter loved Stipe for telling Trump off when he had the chance.

This Grandpa's Reaction To Finding Out He's Seeing Lady Gaga Is So Pure We Can't Stand It
Lady Gaga's Las Vegas residency opened at the end of 2018 with rave reviews causing her shows to quickly sell out.
This left Twitter user @boybehindbricks, AKA Whit, in a bind when she attempted to purchase tickets for herself and her grandparents for her 21st birthday in September.
Recently, however, a new block of tickets went on sale and Whit's grandma snatched up 3 tickets for May 7, 2020.
y’all my grandma rly got us tickets to see gaga in vegas 😭 https://t.co/0Fm0JU21vv— winnie 🇺🇦 ✿ (@winnie 🇺🇦 ✿) 1561757541
Whit was undoubtedly thrilled, but she knew that someone special might be even more excited about the concert.
That special person is Whit's grandpa and she had the foresight to film his reaction when she told him about the tickets.
MY GRANDPAS FACE WHEN HE FOUND OUT WE WERE SEEING LADY GAGA I CANT HES SO PURE HE LOVES HER SO MUCH 😩🥺😭 @ladygaga https://t.co/o5GsUR3uBG— winnie 🇺🇦 ✿ (@winnie 🇺🇦 ✿) 1561761710
Whit first asks her grandpa what he's doing May 7, 2020. He proceeds to look at his calendar on his phone and jokes that he's busy all day.
She asks if he's busy at night, around 8:00 p.m. When he finally admits that he "think[s he's] open" that night, Whit asks if he'd like to go to a concert.
Grandpa must have had Gaga on his mind, because his face is already stunned even before Whit shares whose concert they're going to.
He proceeds to cautiously (and hopefully) ask:
"Gaga?"
Then he adorably adds:
"Oh my gosh. I just got goosebumps!"
The video ends with heart melting laughter of joy from both Whit and her grandpa.
Twitter's heart is bursting at grandpa's adorable reaction.

Boston Performing Arts Group Successful In Its Search To Find The Child Who Yelled 'Wow!' After One Of Their Performances
Handel and Haydn Society's artistic director Harry Christophers had just finished conducting a performance of Mozart's "Masonic Funeral," and was holding that final moment of silence before the applause, when a child in the audience loudly exclaimed "Wow!"
This exclamation of awe startled some laughter out of the audience, followed by a hearty round of applause.
WCRB happened to be recording the performance, the season finale of WCRB In Concert, which will air this fall. You can listen to a short clip of the end of the performance on their website.
Rather than being upset or offended at the child's outburst of wonder, President and CEO of the Handel and Haydn Society, David Snead, set out to find the child.
He described the experience in an email sent to the Society's mailing list as:
"one of the most wonderful moments I've experienced in the concert hall."
In the same email, he also called for the parents of the child to contact him, if they were comfortable doing so, and guaranteed that their identity would be kept confidential if that was what the family wanted.
The reason Snead wanted to know the child's identity was to give them the opportunity to meet the conductor and attend another performance as a guest of honor.
The Handel and Haydn Society's website describes the reason for the founding of the organization as:
"for the purpose of improving the style of performing sacred music, and introducing into more general use the works of Handel and Haydn and other eminent composers."
Encouraging a lifelong love of music in a child who showed such obvious interest seems like it lines up perfectly with this mission.
Twitter users were in love with the child's reaction.

As it turns out, the child's grandfather came forward after Snead's request.
9-year-old Ronan Mattin was attending the performance with his grandfather, Stephen Mattin, when he was overwhelmed by the beauty of the performance and uttered the now-famous "Wow!"
Stephen noted that Ronan, who is on the autism spectrum, is a huge fan of music. The pair went to another concert in Boston a few months prior and Ronan was completely captivated.
Stephen said that after the concert, Ronan:
"talked about nothing else for weeks."
Stephen told WGBH that he had relayed the story of Ronan's enjoyment of the concert to a few people.
"I had told several people because I thought it was a funny story about how he was expressing his admiration for the performance and put everybody in stitches."
Mattin talked about how he has seen a shift in the way people regard those who express themselves differently.
"You know, everybody's different. Everybody has different ways of expressing themselves.
"I think people in general, society's becoming more tolerant or understanding of the differences between people."
Ronan will have the chance to see and hear the Handel and Haydn Society perform again, as the guest of honor.
His family are still working out the details with the Society, but if his past reaction is any indication, he is sure to love the performance.
If you'd like to experience the Handel and Haydn Society under the direction of Harry Christophers, their recording of Haydn: Symphonies Nos. 49 & 87; Mozart: Sinfonia Concertante is available here.
Combos are great - no I don't mean the snack, though those are delicious AF also. I mean the magic that happens when you take 2 things and put them together. Peanut butter was delicious, but meeting jelly was a serious upgrade. Punches are fantastic, but you totally get more points for a punch/kick combo. See where I'm going with this? Combos are a total Ciara-style level up.
One Reddit user asked:
What are some underrated combinations?
Now, I'm gonna be real with you. Most of this is about food - so if you're hungry maybe have a snack before you go in on this one. There are some seriously tempting ideas happening here. Some of these have been edited for clarity where needed.
