People Reveal Which Things They Find Absolutely Unforgivable

Forgiveness has a threshold.

People can only be pushed so far before their personal trigger points become a problem. And that's different for everybody--some people are definitely more forgiving than others. But everybody does have their threshold.

What do you find unforgivable?

Someone poisoned a flock of protected birds last week. They fell out of the sky screaming, bleeding from their eyes

That person should rot in prison.

Organized Religion

Religious leaders who do not "walk the walk" of their own religion, and are either doing it to become secretly or overtly ultra-rich from the honest donations of gullible people, or are committing other major sins that their own teachings absolutely do not support.

Looking at you, child abuser priests and violent extremist faction leaders.

For The Heck Of It

Destroying someone's life because you felt like it. Some girl at my buddy's high school made this wide spread rumor that one quiet kid was part of some cult and was gonna shoot up the school. None of it was true. The guy was so devastated he attempted suicide. He survived and went to another school

Poor Parenting

Being mean to a child for their own gratification or for no good reason.

I'm not talking discipline. That is understandable. I've been in the presence where people have told their kids (at least I am guessing the kids were theirs) how fucking stupid they were, they were a mistake, and just putting the kid down.

I'm a parent and I'll be the first to admit I don't get it right all the time, but children are looking to adults for guidance, love, and acceptance. Treating children like that is just unforgivable in my eyes.

I've never come to blows with those "parents", but I've stepped up to them and the kid and not say a word so the parent knows that what they are saying isn't welcome in my presence.

Trustless Bonds

Infidelity. You can say over and over again that you forgive a cheating partner but deep down you never do because you can never completely trust the person again. You'll always wonder if they are cheating if they go out for the night or act differently. It changes the dynamic of your relationship.

A Gemini Theme Song

Being two faced and emotionally manipulating someone.

For instance I had a gf a while back and a guy she considered her friend lashed out and yelled at her saying he didn't care he made her cry among things I care not to repeat. Then the next day he called her saying how he loved her and he was sorry. God I want that guys head above my wall and I'm not even dating that girl anymore just because he still acts like that to this day

Don't Forgive, Don't Forget

Kicking someone while they're down, be it physically or emotionally. A friend of mine did this to me, I was suffering IRL from a bad toothache and we had argued over something stupid like how we play our video games. He tells me he values the friendship by 'walking away' from the argument.

But then like, an hour or two later, I find out he goes and blocks/removes me from everywhere possible. Banned from his Twitch channel even though I was mod. All of this while I was too busy tending to my pain.

Very dick move and even if we somehow get back together, I'm not forgiving him for that, ever.

Real friends stab in the front.

Constant, Even In Death

Disrespecting the wishes of your dying or dead loved ones. I have seen some stuff. Watched 2 adult children steal from their mother while she was in a coma and then demand money after her death even though they grew up relatively poor and there was no money. They also used the time she was dying to throw a house party then didn't see her before her death. There's so much more, but you get the picture. In another case, a person died suddenly and wanted certain things done, in the case that they did die, to avoid anyone just sitting on the life insurance and not living their lives. Wanted their kids cared for first and foremost as the deceased was estranged from their partner. Things went exactly the way the deceased didn't want and it was sad to watch.

TL;DR - People who make death about themselves and try to get a payout out of the lives of people they were supposed to love.

Flat Earthers and anti-vaxxers.

Seriously, such a total disregard to previous explorers and centuries of scientific and medical progress.

Content Warning: death, accidents, illness.

Death is typically the worst thing that we experience while watching a film or reading a book, but some of us have had the terrible experience of witnessing someone else's death in real life.

We can all agree that we need a healthy dose of fun in our lives, and one sure way of keeping the fun around is to have a hobby we revisit regularly.

But while we can all agree about the importance of having a hobby, we certainly will not all agree about the financial investment involved in many of our options.

It takes one revelation about a person you know to suddenly have a completely different view of them.

A hidden talent, for example, can make you more impressed about a friend you had no clue could carry a tune.

Or someone who did an uncredited good deed can change your mind about them after you assumed they were the type of person who could care less about helping others.

But what happens if there's a sinister secret about a person you thought you knew coming to light?

When going on a first date, we are often on the lookout for "red flags", the key indicators that whoever is sitting across from us couldn't possibly be the love of our life.

More often than not, these red flags, be it something they said or did, are often a firm deal breaker in finding a partner.

Sometimes, however, there might be enough to make you overlook the glaring red flag you just had waved in your face.

And much to your surprise, you might find yourself falling head over heels in love with them, in spite of their one, obvious flaw.
