Why do some people HAVE to speak out of turn? Contributing to conversation without being selfish seems like a skill not many can cultivate easily. And it comes at great irritation to the group. Often times you just want to shake them and scream, "NOBODY CARES!" in their faces.

u/D-Doss667 wanted a list of these things and asked Reddit: What's something people do that make you internally scream "no one cares"?

Here were some of the answers.

Mouth-Downs

Giphy

When my coworker opens their mouth to just repeat the same thing another person said in the meeting, but dumbed down and twice as long.

It just reminds me of SNL or MadTV skit poking fun of John Madden, "They would've won the game if they scored more touchdowns." or however it goes.

The Insecure Olympics

Excessive posts about their relationship. Like, we all can tell you're insecure af when your husband is clearly not happy with you, and you continue to gush about him.

The Rocks That I Got

Giphy

I work in a jewelry store, and people come in every single day and brag about how much their engagement ring costs or how much money they have. It's always a little satisfying when they apply for our house credit card and get denied.

EverythingIsTak

Toxic On Toxic

Giphy

I have a friend who keeps track of what toxic people from her past are doing and gossips about it and I don't know a polite way to tell her how much I don't care.

interiorcrocodemon

Social Media Anger

Giphy

Passive aggressive Facebook statuses. Just let that person know... no need to tell the world that you are "tired of not being appreciated!!!!!"

Stick To Your Guns

Crowdfund for their expensive wedding. Your family and friends love you enough to get you a nice gift. But nobody cares enough about your "amazing love story" to shell out for the wedding you've decided you deserve but can't afford. Amazes me how often I see this.

Herodias

We're All In This Together

Giphy

No one cares that you are late for work. if we are sitting in rush hour traffic in the morning, you bet your -ss EVERYONE just wants to get to work. Don't ride me when I'm inching along JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE. I can't go anywhere. YOU cant go anywhere. We're stuck here until other cars move. I don't feel bad for you if you're late.

I Don't Know Her

Giphy

People who talk incessantly about people you don't know: "I usually go to Jim and Darlene's for Thanksgiving, but this year, Ted, and Joe, and I are going to mix-it-up and go with Lars and Frieda to Ralph's cabin." Who are these people? I don't know, and I don't care.

Paddlingmyboat

The Dish

Giphy

When people on Facebook post a list of all the things they have to do/did that day and the whole list is just normal day to day things that everyone has to do but we're all supposed to be impressed that you did the dishes today.

ShowGirl26

Journey To The Past

Giphy

When someone tells a story from their past, and they pause struggling to recall a person's full name. This mystery person's name is irrelevant to me. Please just continue the story instead of awkwardly making me wait while you exercise your memory in front of me.

legomov

It's NOT My Party

Giphy

Telling me exactly how drunk they got on the weekend, what drinks they had and in what order, what stupid drinking games they played and how hungover they were the next day. Especially when its said with this great sense of pride.

DukeInterior

Human Decency Tho?

Giphy

When people are grieving or shocked about a celebrity's death and someone goes, "am I the only one who doesn't care?"

Yeah I get it, it's "just" a celebrity. But nobody cares that you don't care.

sarcasmisbetter

Get It Together Betty

Giphy

When people complain about slow service (at a busy hour) or a messed up order at fast food restaurants and try to gather sympathy from those around you saying stuff like, "Can you believe this!?!? Unbelievable!!" while at the same time berating the workers behind the counter that are making slightly above minimum wage and have to deal with shitheads like you all day.

No one fucking cares you need to wait an extra minute to get your McGriddle, Betty.

Becky And Betty Should Be Friends

Giphy

I think it's great when people lose weight and get healthy.

I don't think it's great when Becky loses 5 pounds every summer and then puts it back on in the Winter and begins to talk about her #fitfablife with #nocarbs and #nopainnogain.

No one f-cking cares, Becky.

Stop Selling Me Your Life, Brenda

Giphy

"I'm soooooo blessed and honored to announce that blah blah blah blah blah!" Good for you, but you don't need to hold a press release to let people know about every little thing in your life.

See also, "OMG I am soooooo excited to finally say that I love my job! Message me to find out how you can lose weight/detox your life and MAKE MONEY doing it!"

People Explain Which Lessons Aren't Taught In History Class But Should Be
Photo by Taylor Wilcox on Unsplash

It's highly believed that it is important to learn history as a means to improve our future.

What is often overlooked is that what is taught in history class is going to be very different depending on where you went to school.

And this isn't just internationally, even different regions of the United states will likely have very different lessons on American history.

This frequently results in our learning fascinating, heartbreaking and horrifying historical facts which our middle or high school history teachers neglected to teach us.

Redditor Acherontia_atropos91 was curious to learn things people either wished they had learned, or believe they should have learned, in their school history class, leading them to ask:

What isn’t taught in history class but should be?

People Share The Most Random Things They Miss About Life Before The Pandemic

So apparently we are in the endemic phase of this nonsense.

We have light at the end of the tunnel.

So what now?

Where do we go from here?

Normal seems like an outdated word.

How do we get back to normal though?

Is it even possible?

What are reaching back to?

Life pre-Covid.

Those were the days.

If only we could bring them back.

Redditor hetravelingsong wanted to discuss our new normal in this hopeful "endemic" phase. So they asked:

"What’s something random you miss about pre-COVID times?"

Atheists Break Down What They Actually Do Believe In
Photo by Aaron Burden on Unsplash

What do you believe?

Is there a GOD in the sky?

Is he guiding us and helping us?

Life is really hard. Why is that is a big entity is up there loving us?

Atheists have taken a lot of heat for what feels like shunning GOD.

What if they've been right all along?

Maybe let's take a listen and see what they really think.

Redditor __Jacob______ wanted to hear from the people who don't really believe all that "God" stuff. They asked:

"Atheists, what do you believe in?"

The list of what irritates me is endless.

I mean... breathing too loud or dust can set me off.

I'm a bit unstable, yes.

But I'm not alone.

So let's discuss.

Redditor Aburntbagel6 wanted to hear about all the times many of us just couldn't control our disdain. They asked:

"What never fails to piss you off?"
