Believe it or not, life goes on... even during a global pandemic.

Many of us are holed up in our homes and doing the best we can under the current circumstances. But that doesn't mean we can't mourn what we've lost and complain about the silly things that continue to bother us, global crisis or not.

After Redditor cloudgayzing asked, "What's the most first world problem you're currently having?" people were only too happy to weigh in.

"All the stuff I order..."

Giphy

All the stuff I order off of Amazon is gonna take like 5-7+ days to get here instead of the normal 1-2.

"

I had a trip to Hawaii planned this month, and it was cancelled because of the pandemic.

I would much rather everyone be safe and not spreading the virus, but still... it sucks.

Nachtopus

"But now..."

I was meant to go home to Australia for a 3 week vacation in October to see my friends & family.

But now I've been out of work for 6 weeks, with probably another 5-6 to go (Bars will likely be the last thing to reopen in WI and I'm a bartender - so I don't expect to be working again before mid June) which means I'll not only have lost 3+ months of income but I had to spend most of my savings so I won't be able to go home.

I moved to the US 18 months ago and haven't been home since. I miss my friends and family. I really just want to curl up in a ball and cry about it.

FuzzyRoseHat

"I bought..."

I bought a brand new house. It's so new that it's not on google maps so I can't order doordash food during this pandemic.

LittleBearFeet

"I finally found..."

I finally found some toilet paper, but it's not the brand I usually use. I'm so disappointed...

At least I've got some.

brokendowndryer

"My sofa is so large..."

My sofa is so large and plump and covered in cushions that I sink into a nest-like comfort chasm within it and so sometimes get too warm or can't reach my drink.

XyloArch

"Two months ago..."

Two months ago, I got a slight promotion and a nice raise at work... I didn't tell my husband about it because he hates his job and I didn't want to rub salt in the wound.

But then all raises and promotions got suspended because of COVID-19 budget cuts, and now I've got no one to talk about the disappointment with.

Hrekires

"Then it takes..."

Every time i get coffee on my 30 min break, it takes 15 mins to stand in line to get the coffee. Then it takes 15 mins for it to cool off enough to take a sip. So i take one sip then my break is over.

Diglett-no-bite

"I want to rearrange my living room..."

I want to rearrange my living room but my electric leather couches have to be plugged in order to recline and charge my phone and this set up is the only way they can be plugged in to the wall without the cords showing.

heavymetalmater

"I ordered..."

I ordered a laptop from Amazon on Sunday, it said it wouldn't be here until next Tuesday, because of this pandemic nonsense. Checked the shipping, and it gave me the option of upgrading to one-day shipping for free Hell yeah! Clicked that. Now it wont show up until Thursday.

We may not like it, but getting older is pretty inevitable.

With age may come wisdom, but it also comes with lots of responsibilities.

And some days, we're just over it.

People Who Aren't Afraid To Die Share Their Experiences

I would love to know how people don't fear death.

I mean, it's the end. Life will be over. That kind of sucks.

Yet there are people who find tranquility in it.

Can you teach the rest of us?

Redditor deensuk wanted to hear from everyone who has a calmness about the heading to the afterlife. They asked:

"People who are not scared of death, why?"

Dating and the search for love and companionship... What a nightmare.

This journey plays out nothing like in the movies.

Every Prince or Princess (or everything in BTW) seems to have a touch of the psycho.

The things people say during what should be simple dinner conversation can leave a dining partner aghast.

Like... do you hear you?

Redditor detroit_michigldan wanted to discuss all the best ways to crash and burn when trying to make a romantic connection. They asked:

"You're on a date and it's going really great. What can another person say to ruin it completely?"
