Being attractive has its advantages. People approach you, you're likely to get free stuff, and you can generally get away with things other people can't. Is it fair? Of course not. But hey, that's life.

-Willie- asked, What can attractive people get away with that normal people can't?

One of the best aspects of being cute - weirdness is charming.

[rebelmouse-image 18346165 is_animated_gif= dam=1 expand=1]

Being awkward. It's pretty easy for an attractive and awkward guy to come off as funny and boyishly charming rather than just plain weird.

Doesn't matter what you wear if you're cute

[rebelmouse-image 18346166 is_animated_gif= dam=1 expand=1]

Bold fashion choices.

We call it "edgy."

[rebelmouse-image 18346167 is_animated_gif= dam=1 expand=1]

Looking hot in an old holey t-shirt and sweatpants.???????

Nah, people come to us. Especially if we're awkward.

[rebelmouse-image 18346169 is_animated_gif= dam=1 expand=1]

Talking to anyone and everyone randomly.

Dress to undress if you're going out.

[rebelmouse-image 18346170 is_animated_gif= dam=1 expand=1]

Being shirtless or having few clothes.

Just tell us we're pretty.

[rebelmouse-image 18346171 is_animated_gif= dam=1 expand=1]

Having bad social skills. Being socially awkward is a death sentence for ugly to average looking people, but if you're attractive and socially awkward you'll still be noticed and considered endearing.

Cute doesn't mean smart.

[rebelmouse-image 18346172 is_animated_gif= dam=1 expand=1]

Getting hired for jobs they aren't qualified for.

It's true - pretty people get a lot of free stuff. It doesn't suck.

[rebelmouse-image 18346173 is_animated_gif= dam=1 expand=1]

Mooching free meals and drinks.

Yeah but like it's still cute.

[rebelmouse-image 18346174 is_animated_gif= dam=1 expand=1]

Being creepy.

Staring gets creepy, make a move. You're cute, after all.

[rebelmouse-image 18346175 is_animated_gif= dam=1 expand=1]

Staring.

If you're unattractive and you stare at someone: "wtf what a creep."

If you're attractive and you stare at someone: "oh sh_t, he/she is looking at me. I must be looking good today. YES."

Adolescent anxiety officially triggered.

Working at Hollister.

This happens pretty frequently. Evil has an allure.

I heard there was a serial killer who got fan mail in jail because he was attractive. Of course, he didn't get away with the whole murder thing in the eyes of the law, but not everyone in society despises him solely because he was mildly attractive.

Nerds are sexy.

[rebelmouse-image 18346179 is_animated_gif= dam=1 expand=1]

Liking generally nerdy things without being ridiculed for it.

Most people won't admit this but...

[rebelmouse-image 18346180 is_animated_gif= dam=1 expand=1]

Making intentional physical contact (hand on the shoulder, hug, high five, etc) in conversation with communicative partners. With an attractive person, it's flattering and engaging. With an unattractive person, it feels like they're somehow crossing a line.???????

To her or him, unless you're shy and cute, in which case... lure them in.

[rebelmouse-image 18346182 is_animated_gif= dam=1 expand=1]

Just go up to her and say "hi" that's what I do - Attractive person.???????

This is a weird one, but it's true.

[rebelmouse-image 18346184 is_animated_gif= dam=1 expand=1]

For a man, saying hi or joking with a stranger's baby or toddler in public. If attractive and well dressed, you're the best man in the world. If you're frumpy, prepare to be called a pedo or briskly walked away from.

If you're cute, they'll do it.

[rebelmouse-image 18346185 is_animated_gif= dam=1 expand=1]

Asking complete strangers to do "just do me a little favor" with full expectation that they will comply, even when the favor isn't little whatsoever.

We cuties make good salespeople.

[rebelmouse-image 18346187 is_animated_gif= dam=1 expand=1]

Make you miss the signs they have an agenda. A random attractive girl once spoke me up on the bus, only to give me a pamphlet about her church. Er, no thanks.???????

How many times have you caught yourself saying, "ugh, they're so hot though?"

[rebelmouse-image 18346188 is_animated_gif= dam=1 expand=1]

Being a sh_tty person.

Pretty much.

[rebelmouse-image 18346190 is_animated_gif= dam=1 expand=1]

Everything.

People Confess Dreaming Of Doing Something All Their Life Then Hating It Once They Did It

Reddit user buzzkill007 asked: 'Have you ever dreamed of doing something your whole life only to find out, once you did it, that you hated it? What was it?'

They say "Nothing ventured, nothing gained."

You know, the notion that we shouldn't fear things we haven't tried and that getting out of our comfort zone could lead to a wealth of wonderful discoveries.

Most times, fear isn't preventing us from trying the things we've been wanting to try–whether it's a new career or a hobby. We just haven't gotten there yet.

But take note, it's not always what it seems once we get there.

Everyone has a memory from their school days that always makes them laugh when it crosses their minds.

Be it someone passing gas at a very inopportune moment, an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction during a school play or sporting event, or, perhaps most of all, a spectacular prank.

Of course, while every single member of the student body likely finds these incidents and occurrences hilarious, the faculty and staff often find little to nothing funny about them.

Mainly because they often have to deal with the consequences and pandemonium caused by these dubiously hilarious events.

I embarrass myself in the search for love constantly.

Or in the need to try and impress.

I can't help it.

And I know I'm not alone.

Every time I come face to face with a crush or someone that intimidates me, all of my wit, wisdom, and self-respect flies out the window. Suddenly words are just sounds that make no sense. I also laugh at the most inappropriate moments.

Trying to impress someone should be easy.

Well, maybe not easy, it can be a challenge but it shouldn't land anyone in the ER.

When did trying to gain someone's attention become a sporting event?

Thank God for Xanax.

I have found a little calm goes a long way.

We've all had to learn something the hard way or at a super inconvenient time.

But because we're always learning new things, of course there will have to be some things that we learn later, rather than sooner, no matter the consequences of learning it too late.
