Kampala police in Uganda have an American citizen in custody for acting out violently inside a hotel.

His tirade was caught on a video that showed him harassing and punching a Grand Imperial Hotel employee several times and yelling, "You hate Jesus, you hate yourself!"

The suspect was identified as Jimmy Taylor, who claims to be a missionary and an ex-U.S. Marine.

He was detained at the Central Police Station in Kampala on Friday after authorities reviewed the video footage and charged him with assault.

Here, Taylor is in the custody of Ugandan authorities, being taken to the police station. During questioning, he admitted to attacking the hotel worker.

In this disturbing four-minute clip, Taylor attacks the employee, calling him a "whore" and a "bitch," and saying he had "disgraced Jesus."

Taylor also drops the n-word.

"I've come to help Uganda but Uganda hates Jesus through this son of a bitch," he tells the other person in the video.

The catalyst for the violent confrontation was allegedly Taylor not having access to his room. He made threats to obtain a room key. The Kampala Post reported that the so-called missionary blamed illness for his tantrum.

Neither staff member responded with Taylor's level of fury and provocation. Both employees remained calm and even appeared to stifle laughter over Taylor's ridiculous behavior.

When one of the staffers tried to defuse his anger, Taylor responded by saying, "No! No! You obey what I say. I don't obey you."

Taylor's behavior in a foreign country disgusted fellow Americans.

Uganda received apologies on behalf of U.S. citizens.

Dynamq posted the video on Facebook, and it quickly went viral with more than 239,000 views.

The caption read, "LET'S MAKE THIS GO VIRAL. THIS NEEDS TO STOP NOW!!!!!."

Be very careful who you let in your country in the name of God, If this is what they can do in front of a camera. Think about the things they do off camera. Another reason why I say Religion is just another way of scamming people. I hope gets dealt with wicked.
