Halloween Is Grinch Night/ABC

It seems before the Grinch was ruining Christmas for the good folks of Whoville, in How The Grinch Stole Christmas, he was trying to sabotage Halloween.

In 1977, ABC aired a prequel to the well known Christmas movie called Halloween is Grinch Night. Beloved children's author, Dr. Seuss, wrote the screenplay and although it is a prequel, it was written 20 years after the original.

Still, the audience responded favorably to the film and it even managed o snag a 1978 Primetime Emmy Award.

Who knew? Well, we guess the people of Whoville were the ones who knew.

People love their Grinch any way they can get him.

"What are some false stereotypes about your country?"
